Description: The White Oak is a very hardy, disease resistant, Michigan native oak tree. This variety of oak has fine textured green leave in the summer with a beautiful red-purple fall color. White Oaks are regarded as a great wildlife tree as the acorns that are produced are sought out by deer, turkeys and squirrels. White Oaks can keep the majority of its leaves up until the spring of the following year when the new buds start to form.
